  I have been ordering Fresh St. Market's delivery service to Bowen Island and it is awesome. The quality of produce and meat are excellent and they seem to make an effort to carry more locally sourced food than the average store. The delivery charge is a steal compared to a ferry trip, not to mention how much weekend time I save by ordering online. I received a call personally when they didn't have one item available, with suggestions for a substitute item.
  
  I was worried that the drivers might balk at my scary driveway but they navigated it better than I have seen...anyone...navigate my long steep driveway with no room to turn around at the top. The refrigerated van kept my groceries fresh (with frozen goods still well frozen).

  I was in yesterday to buy from the bakery a millefoglie pastry and i was surprised that the bakery attendant with her dirty gloves took the pastry in her hand and put it in the container. When i took it from her i noticed fingerprints on the outside of the pastry.I found this whole experience very unsanitary and will never buy from the bakery again. The whole store itself is not as clean as the Safeway store that was here in the beginning was.If i could give the store zero stars i would.

  What started as a great small first class supermarket has become a place with low quality fruit, vegetables. Their meat area used to be one of the best in the North Shore. Now, their quality not only lacks but, personally I have bought three (three!) times chicken from them and when I open it at home the next day the product is way past due. Should be inspected by the health authorities. I just go for emergency milk or stuff like that. Their staff though is great with a fantastic attitude.

  I love grocery shopping here at Fresh Street. Seafood section is awesome whole lot of choices and options and reasonable price. Staff are friendly and helpful to customers. I also love their Prepared Sushi it is always nice amd fresh. Sandwich section is also big and descent definetely nice to grab for lunch and even small snack.
